Youth and Community Financial Education
Bridge Builders Foundation has developed two (2) targeted culturally relevant programs to educate the community on financial matters. First, a one-hour curriculum targeting the community at large entitled “Hour of Empowerment,” and second, a twenty (20) hour curriculum targeting youth ages 16-25.
Financial Literacy
If education is the great equalizer, then accumulated wealth, must be the “Great Un-Equalizer.”
Wealth inequality perpetuates a disparate distribution of advantage, access, and opportunity. It is personal, institutional, structural, and systemic. Bridge Builders Foundation (BBF), as part of our holistic investment in youth and communities of color, has developed a culturally relevant financial literacy and wealth empowerment curriculum targeting African American and Latinx communities.
