Wayne Moore, President
Wayne Moore has been a senior level public administrator in Los Angeles County for over 25 years, serving as Director of the Office of Management and Budget for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Chief Financial Officer for the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works and Asst. General Manager of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation. He is retired as the Chief Financial Officer of the Southern California Association of Governments.
Wayne has been an active member of the Los Angeles community and a consistent volunteer with the Zeta Rho Foundation Programs. He is a member of the Zeta Rho Foundation’s Board of Directors and serves as the current Board president. He is also a nine-year Board member and Chair of the Finance and Personnel Committee of the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic, an 86-year-old mental health care service provider in south Los Angeles; he is President of the Holman United Methodist Church Permanent Endowment Committee and is a Commissioner on the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension Board, providing pension and health care services to 26,000 retired and active Los Angeles police men and women, fire fighters and their families. He was recently elected to the Boards of the Brookmore Apartments Corporation and the Pacific Homes Foundation. These organizations own and operate senior citizen residential facilities in southern California.
Wayne Moore is a United States Air Force veteran. He attained a BS degree in Finance and an MS degree in Public Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. He is married to E. Elaine Moore, a counselor at El Camino College. They have two children, Chasten, BA Clark-Atlanta University and Kristen, BA and MA Howard.
