Bridge Builders Foundation
Health Education and Awareness
The COVID-19 pandemic illuminated many social determinants of health and the concomitant disparately negative
impacts in health and healthcare service delivery and access for Black and Brown populations.
In 2019, Bridge Builders Foundation received a grant from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation that allowed us to create a structured HIV/AIDS/STI primary prevention and risk reduction curriculum as well as develop informational literature and brochures covering HIV/AIDS/STI primary prevention and risk reduction.
We are currently expanding this outreach to include additional health education awareness topics that disproportionately impact youth and communities of color.
We are committed to the following health education and community awareness and resource development services: Focused Health Education Sessions, Community Health Fairs, and Community Mobilization and Awareness.
Support our programs
With your generous support we are able to grow our programming and provide communities with the aid they need, free of charge. We thank you.
