Annual Salute & Scholarship Awards
In 2024, we will award over $200,000 in scholarships. These scholarships are designed to help bridge the gap and support the advancement of African American males in higher education. The organization believes that by investing in the education of African American males, they can help build a brighter future for the community as a whole.
The scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, community involvement, leadership potential, and financial need. Bridge Builders is dedicated to positively impacting the lives of African American males and helping them achieve their full potential.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
- Current financial commitment to Scholars exceeds $175,000 annually
- Approximately $200,000 annually introducing STEM through our EE Just Science Program
- Approximately $12,000 awarded annually in emergency funds
- Distribute approximately 3,000 books annually to elementary students to encourage reading
- Provide approximately 2,500 hours of tutoring per year
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We are asking for your support. You can get involved by making a generous contribution through sponsorships, by purchasing an ad in our Salute Souvenir Journal, tickets for the event, or just donating. Several sponsorship levels include ads.
