William Dillard is a respected community advocate serving on the Board of Directors for Bridge Builders Foundation, where he provides strategic guidance and oversight to help the organization empower young people with the opportunity, confidence, and support to pursue their goals and contribute to thriving communities.
With over 40 years of experience working with juvenile and adult offenders, William retired as a Supervising Deputy Probation Officer for the Los Angeles County Probation Department, where he supervised a team of Deputy Probation Officer IIs managing adult supervision. He began his probation career in juvenile hall as a Group Supervisor and worked his way up to Senior Detention Services Officer before promoting to a field office as a Deputy Probation Officer II supervising adult offenders.
Affectionately known as "Big Will," he takes pride in being of service to the community and volunteers regularly in mentoring programs, especially the E.E. Just Saturday School and Summer Marine Science Camp, in addition to volunteering at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
William holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne and is based in the Pomona Valley area of Los Angeles County.


Thomas Dowdy, Jr. is a retired management professional with over 40 years of experience, currently serving as a Management Analyst for the City of Los Angeles while providing international disaster relief and conflict resolution training worldwide.
